JT Art & Design, a multi-faceted art and design studio located in the greater Naugatuck Valley, serves individuals and small business clients throughout Connecticut.

The design studio provides graphic design and production for marketing/ communications and creative services firms, also serving small-medium size businesses directly. We help you promote your product or service via print or display media, creatively and professionally, from concept to completion, providing personalized service, without the large agency cost.

We are Mac-based with a working knowledge of the PC platform, and are adept in the Adobe design and publishing software line, and have years of Quark expertise.  In addition, depending on the clients needs, we can access a pool of talent to draw from as needed.  We boast many years of creative and artistic experience and are confident we will meet your expectations.

On an artistic yet different note, the art studio creates custom illustration, as well as custom portraiture and gift caricatures from photos, and specializes in public or private live caricature entertainment for corporate events, Bar Mitzvahs, birthdays, post-graduations, Grand Openings, fundraisers and just about any event or celebration you can imagine.

Also, in addition to our gift caricatures, we are excited to begin offering custom personalized caricature products, including stationery,apparel, favors and more.

Judy Tourangeau, owner of JT Art & Design, has over two decades of diverse graphic design & art direction experience as an employee of agencies, marketing firms and printing & creative companies, and today supplements her business with a design position at a local hospital.

Her many years of experience with these companies provided her invaluable knowledge of traditional aspects of design, and methods of print production and printing processes. This has proven to be a tremendous asset today in conjunction with her independently acquired digital print design and production expertise. She holds a BFA in Graphic Communications from Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut.

In various positions and in her own business, she either solely designed or was instrumental in the creation of a variety of projects for non-profit, retail, consumer and corporate businesses over the years, often for budget-conscious clients with quick-turnaround needs.She has been a member of the Greater Waterbury and Naugatuck Chambers of Commerce, a member of Arts & Culture Collaborative, Waterbury Region and is also involved with other professional creative and social networking groups, both on and off-line.

Also a gifted artist, Judy creates illustration and draws portraits and gift or live caricatures for business, school, non-profit and private customers.

In her spare time she enjoys choral singing, zumba fitness, social activities, music and theatre especially attending a variety of arts performances.
